SimQuip Wheel MiGe kit

The SimQuip steering system we provide has been developed in co-operation with World Championship winning sim racing team VRS Coanda Simsport, and thus we can proudly state that the equipment is made by champions, for champions. While there are cheaper solutions available, it is very important for us that the equipment we sell is of the highest possible standards. While the standard MiGe motors are of course virtually impossible to break during simulator use, the control box, power supply and wiring harness can sometimes cause unwanted issues. First of all, the control board that we provide is fairly similar to Granite Devices SimuCUBE, but has all unnecessary features and componentry removed. Also, the components in the board have been carefully selected to provide the best possible longevity and performance. Higher quality capacitors with higher rated current and thermal capabilities last longer than lower grade products, and also have smaller production tolerances than cheaper models, which directly benefit the user as there are likely less issues with the hardware in the long run. In the short run, higher quality components also work more accurately, giving the driver more precise and timely force feedback. It's also worth pointing out that cheaper wiring harnesses will likely have EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) issues, which can lead to problems with other hardware you have connected. Proper insulation and shielding will take care of these problems. Of course, the power supply also is rated to a high enough sustained power to maximize the trouble-free experience.
